I’m over on the Heffy Doodle blog today with a bit of a punny card. I have a friend who was complaining that she was way to old to go clubbing anymore and so the sentiment from the new release fit perfectly!

I think this might just hold the record for the most amount of products used on one card, but the good news is that a lot of these sets are currently up to 50% off over in the Heffy Doodle shop!

I started off with cutting a dino print foot stencil with the Stitched Dino Prints Die from a piece of scrap card stock and lightly blended some Vintage Photo Distress Ink onto an A6 kraft card panel.

I stamped out the volcano from Geology Rocks and the Stone Age folks from Prehistoric Pals. Lesley challenged us a few weeks ago in her Friday night stream to dust off the Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, so I used them to colour in my characters. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

To ground my characters, I used a Stitched Circle Die along with a Stitched Slopey Joe Border Die to create a little scene. I inked up the pieces with some Distress Ink and used the Unbeleafable Stencil to add a foresty-feel.

I white heat embossed the two sentiments from the Everyday Sentiments Duos and Prehistoric Pals onto some banners cut with the Strips of Ease.

I finished up with some orangey-yellow sequins from my stash to represent an exploding volcano.

Definitely a card to cheer up anyone who is feeling their age!

Happy crafting!
